The notion of not going for an MBA degree after turning entrepreneur could be damaging

In an article published in the Bloomberg Businessweek, Scott Rostan has mulled over an idea that how not having an MBA degree has kept entrepreneurs of some of the startups like WhatsApp, Tumblr from guiding it towards its prime themselves, while also evaluating the decision of Snapchat’s entrepreneur Evan Spiegel of putting down the $3bn buyout offer from Facebook.

One of the key benefits of getting an MBA degree has been outlined in the fact that how students are taught to analyze the intricacies involved in staffing (HR), international expansion, sourcing materials, marketing and finance related issues in companies around the world. Further down the line the students also get the opportunity to also suggest alternatives after analyzing such problems which help them develop business skills and professional wisdom to benefit from it in the long run.
