Canon has announced its new mid-range SLR, the EOS 70D for photography buffs. Key features stuffed in EOS 70D from Canon is the brand-new 20.2MP ‘Dual Pixel CMOS AF’ sensor which works by splitting every single pixel into two photodiodes so that photographers can easily achieve the on-chip phase detection, vastly improved autofocus performance in both live view and movie mode. The 19-point AF module from the EOS 7D is also given in the EOS 70D for shooting through viewfinder, touchscreen controls through its well articulated 3″ LCD. The EOS 70D also comes in with a built-in Wi-Fi to help you in quicker image sharing and remote camera control from the comfort of your smartphone or tablet.
The EOS 70D will be available in the markets for sale by the end of August for £1079.99 / $1199 / €1099 body only, £1199.99 / $1349 / €1249 with the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens, and £1399.99 / $1549 / €1499 with the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens.
