Body found in river recognized as Brown University student

The Rhode Island medical examiner’s office has recognized the body found in a river as that of the missing Brown University student Sunil Tripathi.

It all came to light with the help of forensic dental examination, according to, spokesperson for the Rhode Island Department of Health Dara Chadwick.

“At this time, the cause of death is pending further study, and his family has been notified,” said Chadwick. Chadwick however didn’t confirm whether the body would remain at the medical examiner’s office or not.
