BBC Journalists went undercover with LSE students for North-Korea documentary

North Korea has recently celebrated the birth of its founder Kim Il-sung with a day of celebrations. The celebrations continued unabated despite the worldwide controversy about its nuclear weapons programme.

However, there’s no doubt about the harsh reality of life in the secretive state. This has been caught on tape by a BBC team filming undercover with a group of university students who were on an official tour.  The show is called BBC Panorama. The BBC’s reporter John Sweeney has also defended his stand in a BBC interview after London School Economics administration raised concerns over the incident.
