In one of the first and biggest crackdown of Indian Army against its soldiers and officer on charges of indiscipline, 168 personnel are set to face the consequences of Nyoma, Ladakh clash. The incident took place during field-firing session on May 10, 2012.
Colonel P Kadam, Commanding Officer of the 226 Field Regiment, three other officers, 17 JCOs and 147 of other ranks are set to be reprimanded for the incident. A source of The Indian Express said, “The findings of the court of inquiry has been confirmed by the Northern Army Commander and now the summary of evidence against each of the personnel indicted will be recorded. Then, a decision will be taken to court-martial them according to the seriousness and nature of offence made out against them,”
