Decorated US General Norman Schwarzkopf dies at age 78

General Norman Schwarzkopf who kicked out Saddam Hussein’s forces out of Kuwait in 1991 as commander of the campaign called Operation Desert Storm died at the age of 78. General Schwarzkopf’s sister Ruth Barenbaum has told that he suffered from pneumonia related complications.


As a combat soldier in Vietnam he got his nickname for his short temper, huge built and relative ease in from of the news channel cameras.
