Liberal Democratic Party wins Japan Elections 2012: Shinzo Abe expected to swear in as Prime Minister

The Japan’s Liberal Democratic Party has won 2012 elections on Sunday. Shinzo Abe (58) is expected to take the role of Japan’s prime minister this time from the last Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda (Democratic Party of Japan).

Prior to this Shinzo Abe had also been Japan’s Prime Minister back in 2007 but had to resign after serving for one year citing health reasons. As Japan’s economy like many others’s globally is also hit by recession, Abe has recommended that he will stimulate spending to rescue national economy.
