Elementary school teacher took courageous stand to save students during Connecticut Shooting


Victoria Soto (27), the Sandy Hook Elementary School’s teacher of First Grade students has died in a bid to save her students by hiding them in the closet and as a resultant exposed herself to the assailant of Connecticut Shootings.

“She was found huddled over her children, her students, doing instinctively what she knew was the right thing,” said Jim Wittsie in an interview given to ABC News.

Soto was one of the six adults (all women) who lost their lives during Connecticut Shootings alongwith 20 children (12 Girls and 8 Boys) by assailant Adam Lanza (20). Lanza’s mother was also found dead in her Newton home.
