Connecticut Elementary School Shootings memorial service: President Obama says US should do more to protect its children


In a sullen memorial service of Newton, Connecticut elementary school shooting victims, President Obama said that US must do more in order to prevent incidents like these from happening again.

While speaking at the inter-faith vigil in Newtown, President Obama reiterated his commitment towards the cause and told the residents that the whole nation stands strongly with them during this difficult time.

President Obama displayed his feelings on the incident with statements like ‘Can’t tolerate this’, “I come to offer the love and prayers of a nation,” “and you are not alone in your grief. All across this land of ours we have wept with you.”

Following the incident debates and discussions have once again picked up momentum on Gun Control in US.
