Mexican-American singer Jenni Rivera dies in jet crash with six others , raises concerns over charter jet safety

Jenni Rivera, the Mexican-American singer gets killed in the charter jet crash along with six other passengers including the pilot and co-pilot. The incident has sparked the debate whether, if travelling by a charter jet is at all safe to which experts responded by saying that it is indeed.


One thing that experts did pointed out about the Jenni Rivera incident was the fact that the airplane (Learjet) was 43 years old which in their opinion was really old an airplane to be flying.

Some other celebrities who lost their life in similar incidents includes singer and actress Aaliyah, golfer Payne Stewart and musicians Ronnie Van Zant, Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens etc.
