Micromax A110 Canvas 2 : 5inch Screen, Android 4.0 based Smartphone review

– Micromax A110 Canvas 2 is like a dream that came true for any Smartphone junkie. With 5.0” FWVGA screen producing images at 450×854 pixels (196 ppi), 1 Ghz Dual-Core Processor(Mediatek), 512 Mb RAM, 8.0 MP Auto-Focus camera this cell phone is definitely a treat for those who can’t spend much on a mobile phone.

-The 1Ghz dual-core processor on Canvas 2 performs better in comparison to the Karbonn A21 Smart when it comes to using graphics intensive applications on the phones, not to mention that people don’t purchase Smartphones to just take calls but do lots of other stuff like browsing internet, uploading pictures and staying connected on the move with their friends and colleagues via social networking sites (SNSs) like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

– The 8.0 MP camera of Micromax Canvas 2 is far superior to what’s been given in Karbonn A100 or blue-tinted camera on the Karbonn A90. You can also create panorama pictures on the Canvas 2 with its dual panoramic scene modes. However this feature could be used as a novelty, as the same panorama mode is still not available in a lot of handheld devices excluding the latest Apple iPhone 5.

-Budget Smartphones brought by Indian mobile phone manufacturers (Micromax, Karbonn) has taken the Indian cell phone market by surprise because of it being feature rich and easy on the pocket of consumers. Gone are the days when by hearing about the Smartphone used to bang the idea inside the consumers head that – it’s a luxury meant for few. Consumers looking for a smartphone in the price range of Rs5000-Rs10000 can well try this phone at a nearby supermarket or stand alone mobile shop.

– For those who are worried about Micromax being a Chinese phone, they should stop worrying as this is nothing more than misconception spread by who knows who. For your knowledge in case of mobile phone manufacturing business even bigshots like Sony, Apple, Samsung also get their cell phones manufactured in China, Korea, Vietnam through outsourcing and place their brand logo on these phones at a later stage. Hence, there isn’t much merit in this argument and you can leave your worries aside about quality concerns regarding Micromax phones.
