First artwork from latest 2012 painting collection of Quebec based painter Daniel Barkley revealed


-Daniel Barkley latest artwork- Study for Brother’s Keeper, 2012, 50 x 76 cm, watercolor on paper

-Daniel Barkley is a painter born in Montreal in 1962 and has got his Master’s degree in Fine Arts from Concordia University. He has been painting for almost twenty years now and is known to have a shocking value in his artworks according to art critics. He has carried out 16 exhibitions of his work, most of which were solo exhibitions.

– Robert Bernier said in Les Éditions de l’Homme, 2002 about Daniel Barkley that though his technique may appear conventional, yet he draws inspiration for his artwork from varied sources and blends them all into a single artpiece.

Artfacts has ranked the artist somewhere between 35500-36000 rank ranges. The last two exhibitions of Daniel Barkley were in The Weiss Gallery, Calgary, AB in 2011 and Galerie Dominique Bouffard, Montreal, QC
