Nintendo Wii U consumers shall not have to wait for Netflix anymore

  • Popular video streaming service Netflix can now be used Nintendo’s gaming console “Wii U” from immediate effect.
  • Contrary to the news doing rounds that Netflix, Hulu Plus, YouTube, and Amazon Instant Video shall be delayed for a few days, Netflix clarified that it isn’t so.
  • Netflix will be available on Wii U from this weekend onwards (i.e. 23-24th November onwards). Chris Jaffe, Director, Product Innovation of Netflix said in a statement, “Netflix is available today on the Wii U home screen with the Wii U launch in the US and Canada,” and “Netflix members can sign-in for full access.”
