I am sure no one would contradict me if I say that Pippa Middleton is one of the most active celebrities on the party circuit in London. After days of crazy partying, Pippa Middleton has framed her mind and penned down all her tips and experiences for millions who fancy being on the guest-list of some of the hottest parties coming up in town.
The interest in Pippa Middleton life heightened after her sister Kate Middleton was crowned Dutchess of Cambridge and married Prince Williams.
The title of Pippa Middleton’s book is “Celebrate: A Year of British festivities for families and friends” and launched it at the Daunt Book Store in west London. The book targets the idea of what we call home entertaining. The review done by Jan Moir on Pippa Middleton book said that Pippa had included the most basic information that could have been done away with to compensate for the so called (lack of) experience that she says she has got after years of managing her parents business, Party Pieces which is an event management firm based in London.
Pippa revealed that she wanted to inform people and provide them with party ideas without charging a hefty sum for it, like the way it’s done at their event management company. Jan Moir takes a satire at this in her review of the book and points out that she gets to receive an advance of £400,000 for sharing these insights.
The review says that Pippa Middleton is desperately trying to match it up with Martha Stewart and looking forward to creating a reputation like hers in the Shires. At the comment made by Pippa Middleton that she keeps getting new ideas for decorations at an event, Jan Moir speaks of the dilemma that is seeded in her mind, trying to boil it down to realize whether it’s a promise or a threat from her.
One of the party tips shared by Pippa Middleton in her book says, ‘Pippa¿s Hallowe¿en party-throwers must have a garden with trees from which to hang their doughnuts (don¿t ask)’ I guess I need not elaborate any further on the kind of tips that you are about to get from this book.
Pippa Middleton has also spoken her mind on the overnight celebrity status she got saying that she is getting all this attention because of her connections with the royals. She said, ‘It is a bit startling to achieve global recognition (if that’s the right word) before the age of 30 on account of your sister, your brother-in-law and your bottom,’
British edition is available on Penguin and is priced at £40.
The US edition is going to be published by Viking and is yet to be released.
