The green mile actor, Michael Duncan Clarke died on 3rd September after suffering a heart attack on 23rd July. A representative from the family said that Duncan could never really recover from the blow that his body had to go through due to heart attack.
The role of Bear played by Duncan in the 1998 movie “Armageddon” is seen as one of the highs he had achieved in his career with Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck, Owen Wilson and Will Patton as his co-actors.
The Green Mile although remains the best of his acting career as the actor received his sole Oscar nomination of the best supporting actor for his work in the movie.
His stint in the crime comedy “The Whole Nine Yards” with actors like Matthew Perry, Natasha Henstridge, Kevin Pollack, Amanda Peet, Bruce Wills, Rosanna Arquette has won him many accolades.
The actor also helped promote causes like breast cancer awareness and helped creating awareness for such cause, his participation in Sears-NBA Breast Health Awareness Celebrity Game in 2001 being one of the many such social gestures.
The Scorpian King, Daredevil, Sin City, The Island, Talladega Nights are some of the most talked films through which Duncan kept proving himself as an actor while also being an actor with the capacity of drawing audience to the cinema halls. “The Finder” television series on FOX was the last assignment for the actor.
Duncan was dating reality television celebrity Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth who rose to fame for her part in “The Apprentice”. Both of them were last spotted attending “The Act of Valor” premiere on 13th February.
